London vocalist, songwriter and producer Bruce Breakey (named after Springsteen) and
Lithuanian guitarist, producer and model Simon Kuzmickas have been winning fans
with a sound that combines the poetic everyday storytelling of The Streets with an innovative
approach to sound and vision akin to LCD Soundsystem, Kanye West and Prince.
Through their songs they navigate modern life and the seemingly endless pursuit of happiness.
They delve into love, money, sex, stereotypes and all the colourful schemes and situations
dealt with by everyday people.
The duo are about ethics not politics, and want to spread positivity and unity in
an era which feels increasingly bleak.
Following a slew of releases over the past few years, momentum is gathering pace and 2025
will see the boys play summer festivals Dot To Dot, Reading & Leeds, Isle of Wight, Glastonbury,
2000 Trees, Truck, Kendal Calling and more, plus The Great Escape in Brighton.
Early support has come from John Kennedy at Radio X, BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing & BBC 6 Music.
“They really feel like one of our own, don’t they?”
- Jack Saunders, BBC Radio 1
“There’s a humanity to what you’re doing, there is humour in there but it can also
be serious. Absolutely brilliant.”
- John Kennedy, Radio X
“Spoken word flows over animated riffs for a genreless sound that calls to mind artists like
Hak Baker and slowthai.”
- HUNGER Magazine
