We are delighted to announce the re-signing of Cardiff-based songwriter & producer Matt Attard; extending his deal with us for a further 3 years!
Originally signed pre-pandemic in late 2019, Matt joined Cooking Vinyl as an experienced live musician and a composer of production music, but a relative novice in the world of commercial pop writing.
Fast forward three years and Matt is carving out his career as one of the most exciting new names on the UK’s writer-producer scene with a slew of co-write releases with the likes of Gabby Martin, Lydia Ford & Pedar Elias – the latter, signed to Sony Music Norway, giving Matt his first sales plaque by reaching 6x Platinum status in South Korea with the album ‘Love & Loneliness’ in 2022. He has also been in the studio with the likes of Matt Terry, Arcades (BTS), William Segerdahl, Sarah de Warren & Graham Candy.
Matt has been developing a sync project with collaborator (and Cooking Vinyl Publishing roster-mate) Robbie Jay called Good Daze, with the first releases expected later in 2023, and is also making moves in the world of K-Pop.
