Marie Dahlstrom releases her new EP 'Safe Place' on October 29th via her own label JFH Records, ahead of a headline show at London’s Camden Assembly on November 19th. Commenting on ‘Safe Place’ EP, Marie added: “I wrote this EP during lock down. This was a special time in my life, where everything shifted in a way. I was moving out of my apartment in London, the only place I'd ever lived since I moved. There were no gigs or concerts, society was (and still is) in a strange place, and then there was coronavirus and my pregnancy. It gave me a lot of time to reflect about what really matters and just how lucky we are to be living and experiencing this life.”
Previously supported and praised by the likes of Billboard, NPR, The Line Of Best Fit, NYLON, Complex and Wonderland Magazine, along with substantial radio airplay from BBC 1Xtra DJ’s Jamz Supernova, DJ Target, Toddla T and Rinse FM’s Jyoty, Marie is one of the most exciting voices in contemporary R&B.
